& Rescue Squad



I joined the Ellenville First Aid & Rescue Squad in December, 2001. I became an EMT in 2002. Over the last 17 years I have been elected to the positions of Assistant Captain, Captain, Board Member and I am now the Board Chairman. I continue to be actively involved in the Rescue Squad.

Youth Commission



In 2000 there was a vacancy on the Youth Commission and I was asked if I was interested in being on the board. As a chlld who grew up going to the programs, I was all too happy to be involved. I have remained on the board since then.

4th of July Committee



Upon the retirement of Jane Eck, Past Chairperson, there was a concern about the July 4th parade and fireworks continuing. I loved watching them every year and couldn't imagine it not happening, I joined the Committee in 2008 and in 2009 I became Chairperson. Our committee remains dedicated to making each year better than the last.



Hunt Memorial Preservation Committee



The Hunt Memorial Building is the downtown jewel in Ellenville. I can recall taking karate classes, as a kid, in the basement there. A few years ago I began volunteering in the visitors center. I was impressed and excited with the work that the committee had accomplished. I was asked to be on the board and I enthusiastically accepted.

After a few of years of being involved with the Youth Commission, Rescue Squad and Fire Department, I decided I wanted to do more in the community. I began my Public Service in 2004 when, at 22 years old, I was elected to the Village Board. I currently hold the title of the youngest Trustee ever elected in Ellenville. I have made advocating for the youth my top priority.

My time on the Village Board taught me a lot. After gaining experience in municipal finances and operations, I decided to run for Town Councilman. I was again able to claim the title of the youngest Councilman. I spent my time on the Town Board working on expanding youth activities. During my time we were able to expand the summer youth program from 94 children to over 300.

Ellenville Regional Hospital
Director of Support Service
2000-Present





I began working at Ellenville Regional Hospital in 2000. This was a dark period for the hospital and outlook was bleak. I can proudly say that I have seen and been a part of the amazing transformation that has occurred. I have worn many hats over the last 19 years. I organized the CSEA Union and was Union President for several years. I was then promoted to management as the Purchasing Director. I eventually grew into my current role as Director of Support Services. In this role I oversee several departments and I am the Corporate Compliance Officer.



It would be a privilege to serve you again as your
Ulster County Legislator.
